DegenPunks is a collection of 888 unique ERC-721 Non-Fungible tokens living on the Ethereum blockchain. Each NFT is hosted on IPFS and has been created algorithmically by mixing a variety of properties with different possibilities in the following categories: Background, Skin color, Nose, Accessories, Hair, Mouth and Eyes.
After Elon Musk implanted neuralink to the first 888 people they got turned into funny, strange and crazy creatures with amazing abilities : mind control, shapeshifting and telekinesis! They found the Earth a very foolish and underdeveloped place to be lived and decided to create their own colony and world. These dexterous creatures are called "DegenPunks"! Some of them are still floating in the space!

Hello!
First of all I am a 19 years old student and I am the only one creator that did this whole NFT project. I was scrolling down through instagram
and accidentally saw a post about NFTs (cryptopunks), then when I saw that those tiny pixelated images are sold for millions of dollars I decided to create
my own NFT collection. I can say that I had no idea about using Photoshop and about coding, but it got turned into a passion for me, I did a lot of reserachs and I created this project. Maybe
I am not a great coder or designer, but at least now I know something about coding, creating a website or designing with Photoshop. I started researching NFT projects,
watched videos about creating NFT collections and then I started creating this project. I wanted to create
something that would be funny and cool, memorable and that people would love to show off in their collections. Since I was a kid I loved pixel arts and decided to
create something pixelated that would look cool in the profile pictures. All of this work I did all by myself only when I had free times, because I had to
go to school and work, I really worked very hard for this project and I want to grow this community. I decided the price to be 0.003 ETH (about 3-4 dollars), so
everybody can buy and collect these NFTs :)
Provenance can be defined as the history of ownership behind an item starting from the origin. In general, provenances provide documentation about an item like whose hands have touched it which can help verify that an item is authentic.
Provenance is important to NFTs as it enables you to verify changes in ownership information through the blockchain – it will provide tracking and tracing of digital items. The documentation provides authenticity and source. This will affect prices on items with people wanting to purchase items coming from or owned by notable people.
